I started Amareis when I realized I needed a way to channel my own search for meaning and a language of style. Teaching myself pattern-making and working alongside a part-time seamstress, I began turning my sketches into small-batch collections out of my Vancouver studio.

“Amareis” comes from the simple yet powerful words “am, are, is”.

Amareis transforms familiar staples into versatile pieces for daily life, blending function with artistic expression,
balancing structure and fluidity, and speaks to individuality and freedom.
